How do I transfer all the files on my computer to a flash drive?

I just watched an old episode of sex and the city where Carrie lost all her stuff because she didn't have it on a flash drive (embarassed, yeah I watched an episode of a chick show) ... Anyway, I have a flash drive, how do I do this?

lmfao what a shame. i hope you're embarrassed for watching that.

now. your computer's harddrive if its new at all is atleast 250gb. you're flash drive. probably 1gb.
1/250 you're not gonna get it all.

basically find a few files you like. Right click on them hit copy. plug in your flash drive. now go to MY Computer. and click on your flash drive.
right click on a open area and hit paste. there, now they're on the flashdrive.
